Teen Volunteer Opportunities:

Teen Library Council (TLC)
The Teen Library Council (TLC) is a safe space for teens to voice their opinions for the Library.
Participants will have a say in program ideas, program planning, and purchasing Library materials.

Passive Volunteer Opportunities:
These are volunteer opportunities that can be done outside of the library. However, since they help out just the same, they will count as volunteer time.

Passive volunteer opportunities are open to current volunteers, and can be added to time volunteering in the Library. Volunteers are encouraged to volunteer in person as well. Click here for the Volunteer Application.

One option that is always available is writing Book Reviews. Book reviews will help be book suggestions for other teens as well as help Rachel, the Teen Librarian, know what kinds of books people have been enjoying to be able to purchase books in the future. These book reviews will be posted in the Teen Space and on the @bhplteen Instagram account. Each Book Review will count as 1 hour of volunteer time.
