BHPL Book Groups
BHPL offers several book groups for adults: “Books Speak Volumes”, the Morning Book Group, and the Evening Book Group. Scroll down for more information about each book group. In addition there is also the Mayor’s Wellness Book Club, the Joy of Cookbooking Club , and a book group for teens, see the Teen Events page.

“Books Speak Volumes” Book Group
The Books Speak Volumes group usually meets the third Thursday of each month at 7:00 pm. Check the list of previous Books Speak Volumes reading selections here.
The May meeting will be on Thursday, May 15 at 7:00 pm to discuss A Pilgrimage to Eternity: from Canterbury to Rome in search of a faith by Timothy Egan.
Some print copies of A Pilgrimage to Eternity will be available for checkout; stop by or contact the Circulation Desk at (908) 608-8603 x1.

Friday Morning Book Group
The Morning book group usually meets the first Friday of each month at 10:30 am. Check the list of previous Morning book group reading selections here.
The May meeting will be on Friday, May 2 at 10:30 am to discuss Tom Lake by Ann Patchett. Some print copies of Tom Lake are available for checkout. The eBook and audiobook are available on hoopla; the eBook and audiobook may be available on Libby.

The Evening book group usually meets the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm. Check the list of previous Evening book group reading selections here.
