Celebrate Poem in Your Pocket Day

Join BHPL in celebrating National Poetry Month and Poem in Your Pocket Day .
*From April 20 – April 26, in the library pick up a ‘poem in a pocket’ for children or teens/adults to take with you.
*Browse and checkout a book from our poetry book display.
*Children (ages 6-12), Teens (ages 13-19) and Adults are encouraged to participate in our Haiku Contest. See “What is Haiku” for more information about this form of poetry. Pick up an entry form in the library or download the form here. Return your completed haiku to the library through April 30th. Winners in each category will receive a prize and have their poem posted in the library!
