BHPL Book Groups
BHPL offers several book groups for adults: “Books Speak Volumes”, the Morning Book Group, and the Evening Book Group. Scroll down for more information about each book group. In addition there is also the Mayor’s Wellness Book Club, the Joy of Cookbooking Club , and a book group for teens, see the Teen Events page.

“Books Speak Volumes” Book Group
The Books Speak Volumes group usually meets the third Thursday of each month at 7:00 pm. Check the list of previous Books Speak Volumes reading selections here.
The next discussion meeting will be on Thursday, November 21 at 7:00 pm to discuss Hero of the Empire: the Boer War, a daring escape, and the making of Winston Churchill by Candice Millard.
Some print copies of Hero of the Empire are available for checkout; stop by or contact the Circulation Desk at (908) 608-8603 x1. The eBook & audiobook may be available on Libby.

Friday Morning Book Group
The Morning book group usually meets the first Friday of each month at 10:30 am. Check the list of previous Morning book group reading selections here.
The December meeting will be on Friday, December 6 at 10:30 am to discuss Small World by Laura Zigman. Some print copies of Small World are available for checkout; the eBook and eAudiobook are available on hoopla and the eBook may be available on Libby.
